Bahrain Economic Vision 2030
In line with the forward-looking aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Economic Development Board (EDB), chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the EDB, developed the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which was launched by His Majesty the King in 2008.
Rooted in the principles of the National Action Charter and the Kingdom’s comprehensive development framework, the Vision provides a clear roadmap for economic advancement and diversification. Its central aim is to raise the quality of life for all Bahraini citizens while positioning the Kingdom as a leading economic hub in the region.
The Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 is founded on three guiding principles:
