Tourism Minister meets PM programme 10th intake members

Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, met with members of the 10th intake of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Programme, at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Minister Al Sairafi said that the programme has become an important initiative for building skilled national talent able to improve government work, especially by focusing on developing skills and experience. She commended the ongoing support and follow-up the programme receives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as part of his commitment to improving government performance and efficiency.
She outlined the main points of the Tourism Strategy 2022–2026, including its focus on sustainability, efforts to diversify tourism products, enhance the visitor experience, and major projects being implemented in cooperation with partners.
Minister Al Sairafi emphasised that the tourism sector’s development depends on strong partnerships between the public and private sectors. She highlighted the key role of the private sector as the main driver of tourism and its ability to provide opportunities for young Bahrainis. She also noted the important contributions of national talent in creating initiatives, improving institutional work, organising major events, and supporting tourism promotion in Bahrain and abroad.
On their part, members of the 10th intake of the programme thanked the minister for her support and appreciation of young national talent. They underlined their commitment to working as one team and to actively contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development and enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness at all levels.
