The PMO announces the conclusion of Fikra’s application period
The Prime Minister’s Office today announced the conclusion of the application process for the sixth edition of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra).
Fikra has been established under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahrain’s national workforce to enhance government workstreams and achieve the Kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations.
The application period ran from 27 October to 27 November, and the evaluation committee has started reviewing all the submitted applications.
Fikra has demonstrated its success by inspiring innovative ideas that have improved government efficiency and productivity.
Fikra has also fostered a culture of creativity and innovation within the public sector, aligning with desired aspirations and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The competition provides an opportunity for public sector employees to contribute to shaping government initiatives through innovative ideas and enhancing government workstreams to benefit all.
