His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, today received His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the headquarters of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) in Bahrain Bay.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness noted that the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad reflects the depth of the historic partnership between the two Kingdoms. His Highness highlighted that the visit provides an opportunity to exchange expertise across areas of shared interest, particularly in attracting investment and advancing economic diversification goals. His Highness emphasised that these efforts, reflect the Kingdom’s comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness emphasised the pivotal role played by the EDB in driving strategic initiatives and development plans that boost national competitiveness and support sustainable growth in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad attended a presentation delivered by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy. The presentation outlined the Kingdom’s economic performance, progress in diversification, and achievements under Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. His Excellency also reviewed major investment opportunities and the competitive advantages that position the Kingdom of Bahrain as a gateway to the Gulf.
Her Excellency Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the EDB, also delivered a presentation highlighting the Board’s role as a strategic partner for investors, its promotional initiatives, and its efforts to attract regional and international investment.
Her Excellency underscored that the EDB provides comprehensive end-to-end support for investors throughout the project lifespan. She added that Bahrain’s business-friendly environment, advanced infrastructure, and highly skilled national workforce collectively position the Kingdom as a leading destination for local and international investment.
