Successful candidates of the 8th edition of the PM Fellowship announced
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) today announced the list of 15 successful candidates for the 8th intake of the PM Fellowship Program.
The candidates, selected following a rigorous evaluation process, are as follows:
1. Abdulla Mohamed AlRaees – Central Bank of Bahrain
2. Abrar Jassim Derbas – Tamkeen
3. Afnan Hasan Haidar – National Bureau for Revenue
4. Ahmed Akbar Ali Mohammed – Ministry of Works
5. Ahmed Sameer AlHadad – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
6. Ali Ayoob AbuAlFateh – Ministry of Finance and National Economy
7. Ali Hasan Humaidan – Ministry of Finance and National Economy
8. Emad Isa AlAbbasi – Ministry of Justice
9. Fatema Fadhel Abbas – Ministry of Works
10. S. Mohamed Jaffar Mohamed – Electricity and Water Authority
11. Moza Ebrahim AlHadi – University of Bahrain
12. Noor Muwaffaq Hilal – Tamkeen
13. Rana Ebrahim AlSindi - Primary Health Care Centres
14. Salem Khalid AlFuhaid – Ministry of Interior
15. Zainab Abdulwahed AlAlwani – University of Bahrain
Following the announcement, the Director-General of the PMO, Hamad Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, extended his congratulations to the successful candidates of the 8th edition of the PM Fellowship Program, wishing them success in their one-year assignment.
Al Mahmeed highlighted the program’s importance in reflecting His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s forward-looking vision, which focuses on investing in Bahraini citizens, who remain the Kingdom’s greatest strength and foremost priority.
Al Mahmeed noted that the program provides an opportunity in bolstering the skillset of young public sector professionals, who will play an important role in contributing to the Kingdom’s ongoing development, upon their return to their respective posts after completing the training program.
The Director-General of the PMO went on to emphasise that the program continues to be developed to accommodate current and future development needs, ensuring that young leaders across the government continue to efficiently deliver the best services to citizens.
The PM Fellowship is an ambitious year-long program that refines and cultivates the skills and abilities of young Bahraini leaders working in the public sector. The 8th edition of the program has received robust participation from young government professionals from across a wide-range of government agencies.
