Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), met with participants of the 10th intake of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Programme.
They emphasised that the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme reflects the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to build national leaders capable of achieving government excellence efficiently and competently. This contributes to the goals of comprehensive development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
 
Al Qaed highlighted that the programme represents an advanced national model for investing in government cadres by equipping them with knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to contribute effectively to improving the government work system, in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
 
He noted that investing in national competencies is a key pillar of Bahrain’s approach, which places human capital at the core of national development. The programme embodies this approach by preparing leadership cadres capable of making data-driven decisions and addressing emerging challenges with innovative methods. He expressed his wishes for the success of the 10th intake and encouraged them to take advantage of this unique opportunity to develop their leadership and innovation skills and achieve the programme’s goals.
 
Al Qaed also highlighted the iGA’s commitment to enhancing user experience through advanced digital solutions that simplify procedures, accelerate access to services, and further develop public confidence in the digital government system. He added that the iGA continues to implement projects aimed at improving government performance by employing the latest technologies and fostering cooperation with all government entities and private sector institutions.
 
During the meeting, Al Qaed reviewed with the participants the most prominent strategic digital projects recently launched by the iGA, which represent a qualitative shift in Bahrain’s digital transformation journey. These initiatives translate the Kingdom’s vision for digital transformation into practice, raise government performance efficiency, improve service quality, and enhance user satisfaction. They include the "MyGov" app, the upgraded eKey, the enhanced ID card, self-service centres, and the Innovation Centre.
 
On their part, the 10th intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme expressed their appreciation to Al Qaed for the detailed overview of the strategic digital projects and his dedication to encouraging young talent, which helps create new opportunities for innovation and creativity. They emphasised their commitment to continue working with dedication and sincerity in service of the Kingdom.
