HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Meets with the Minister of Interior

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, met today with His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, at the Ministry of Interior.
This meeting aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It is part of the Government Priorities Framework, endorsed by the Cabinet and overseen by the Government Executive Committee chaired by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman discussed the Ministry’s progress in implementing digital transformation initiatives that support the Kingdom’s objectives of enhancing public services and meeting citizens' needs more effectively. He highlighted Bahrain’s advancements in technical infrastructure, noting its efficiency and capacity as essential to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
His Highness emphasised that digital transformation is crucial for the Kingdom's progress, enhancing government service efficiency, effectiveness, and security. He also pointed out that adopting innovative digital technologies fosters creativity and drives development, harnessing the potential of the latest technologies and smart systems.
In response, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla expressed gratitude for His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman’s visit. He praised the efforts to improve government services for citizens and residents. These initiatives contribute to Bahrain’s comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, positioning Bahrain as a leader in digital transformation.
