His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, paid a visit this morning to the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Ministry of Information. The visit comes in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as part of the ongoing follow-up on the Government Priorities Framework in its fourth edition.

During his visit to the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, His Highness reviewed the progress of strategic municipal projects and was briefed on the latest updates regarding the Kingdom’s efforts in the agricultural sector and sustainable urban development. His Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to develop municipal work on the basis of planning for sustainable growth, noting the need to intensify efforts in implementing various initiatives that enhance food and environmental security and support economic development.

At the Ministry of Information, His Highness followed up on projects aimed at further developing the national media framework as an active partner in supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development. He noted that the continued development of the media sector contributes to opening new horizons for enhancing the sector’s competitiveness, highlighting its role in showcasing national efforts and achievements, strengthening community partnerships, and fostering values that reinforce the foundations of progress and development.

His Highness also visited the National Communication Centre, where he was briefed on plans to develop the government communication sector. This included projects and programmes designed to enhance the efficiency of government communication through a comprehensive strategic framework, serving to showcase government efforts and achievements, and supporting development across various sectors.

For their part, both the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Minister of Information, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Communication Centre, affirmed their commitment to implementing the visions of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, by continuing to develop municipal and media work in ways that meet the aspirations of the nation’s citizens. They expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Highness for his visit and for his keen interest in following up on the progress of projects to achieve the set national goals.

The Government Priorities Framework is a strategic initiative aimed at unifying national efforts and optimising resource allocation towards projects that directly serve citizens. It is guided by the vision of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Mr Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, along with a number of senior officials.
