HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa meets with the UK’s Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, today met with Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the United Kingdom’s Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Highness highlighted the historic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, grounded in decades of multisectoral collaboration, particularly in the military and defence sectors.
His Highness noted that these relations continue to grow through strategic partnerships and mutual agreements, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which the UK joined following an invitation by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
His Highness highlighted the recently signed Defence Cooperation Accord as a key milestone in further strengthening bilateral ties and advancing shared objectives.
During the meeting, His Highness affirmed the United Kingdom’s pivotal role, alongside allied nations, in reinforcing international peace and stability.
The two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
