Health Minister meets participants of Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme
Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, met with participants of the 11th cohort of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme, highlighting the programme’s role in supporting and qualifying national competencies and contributing to the development of government performance.

The Minister underscored the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to empowering national cadres by providing opportunities that enhance their capabilities and enable them to contribute effectively to development objectives. She also commended the contributions of national talents across government sectors, noting their role in advancing innovation and institutional development.

Dr. Jaleela reviewed key issues related to the health sector, including major health projects and programmes, mechanisms for achieving integration within the health system, and the provision of healthcare and preventive services. She outlined current priorities and future directions aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of health services to address emerging challenges, and highlighted efforts to achieve comprehensive health coverage as a strategic priority.

As part of the programme, participants from the 11th cohort also visited the Public Health Directorate, where they were briefed on its departments and health initiatives aimed at enhancing community health services.

Participants expressed appreciation for the meeting and for the Minister’s continued support of national professionals, emphasising their commitment to serving the Kingdom of Bahrain with dedication and professionalism.
